German Marquez strikes out six in quality start Thursday

German Marquez did not factor into the decision after allowing two runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out six in six innings of Thursday's 8-6 win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
After a shaky first half of the season, Marquez has looked better as of late. The veteran has now turned in back-to-back quality starts and he has gone at least six innings in seven straight outings. He now has an ERA of 5.08 and a WHIP of 1.42 in 22 appearances this season, and he is slowly turning into a low-end fantasy starter in deeper leagues. The right-hander will take on the Cardinals again on Wednesday.
