Elias Diaz likely heading to the IL

Elias Diaz has ligament damage in his hand, but no broken bones after having an MRI Thursday. Dom Nunez is expected to replace him on the roster. (Danielle Allentuck on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Great news for Diaz and the Rockies that he did not break any bones, but he is likely going to need at least the minimum IL time to recover. The 31-year-old is slashing .230/.294/.371 with six home runs and 33 RBIs this season. Fantasy managers will want to go ahead and prepare to be without Diaz for the time being.
