Cal Quantrill earns ninth win Friday

Cal Quantrill tossed seven shutout innings in an 8-0 win over the Blue Jays on Friday. Quantrill allowed just one hit and struck out seven while earning the win.
Fantasy Impact:
Quantrill doesn't normally strike many batters out but he tied a season-high with seven strikeouts against a tough Toronto lineup. Quantrill now has a 9-5 record, 3.67 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 86 strikeouts over 130 innings of work. His next start is scheduled to come against the Tigers on Wednesday.
