Kyle Muller pitched five innings, allowing two earned runs on three hits and a walk while striking out five during Atlanta's win over Miami on Saturday.
Muller was recalled earlier in the day and got his first win of the season, in the first game of the Braves double-header, limiting the Marlins to two runs over five innings of work. He generated a solid 13 swinging strikes, five strikeouts and a 27 percent CSW on 73 pitches and may stick around with the team as Ian Anderson is anticipated to be sent back down to Triple-A Gwinnett following his start. On the season Muller is now 1-1 with an inflated 10.27 ERA and 1.83 WHIP with eight strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings of work. His next scheduled start is at home against the Astros on Friday.
