Mitch White pitched 4 2/3 innings allowing an earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out three during Toronto's win over Cleveland on Saturday.
White struggled with control early in this game, walking three batters, but settled in to limit the Guardians to one run over 4 2/3 innings. He's been solid this season, limiting teams to three runs or fewer in 10 out of 11 starts and may see another start as Ross Stripling is recovering from a glute injury. On the season White is now 1-3 with a 3.86 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 52 strikeouts over 60 2/3 innings of work. He's scheduled to start on the road against the Yankees on Thursday.
