DL Hall allows five runs, strikes out six in MLB debut Saturday

by Owen Klukas | Brewers Correspondent | Sat, Aug 13th 8:42pm EDT

DL Hall (0-1) allowed five earned runs on five hits over 3 2/3 innings, owning the loss in the 2-8 defeat to the Rays. The left-hander struck out six and yielded three walks in the 76-pitch outing.

Fantasy Impact:

Hall faced 19 batters in his first big league start and recorded seven first-pitch strikes. Unfortunately, he inherited the loss while finishes 3 2/3 innings of work with a 12.27 ERA, 2.18 WHIP, and 14.73 K/9. The good news is that the strikeouts were very much present while generating a 90.8 average pitch velocity and a 97.2 max pitch velocity in the start. The Valdosta native should be scheduled to start versus the Cubs in Baltimore on August 18.
