John Schreiber charged with loss against Yankees

Red Sox reliever John Schreiber allowed one run, three hits, and one walk between the eighth and ninth innings of Saturday's game against the Yankees. He struck out four batters in the process. After surrendering the go-ahead run in the ninth, Schreiber bounced back and closed out the inning, but it was too late. The damage was done and the right-hander was charged with the loss as Boston ultimately fell to New York by a score of 3-2.
