Struggling Erick Aybar gets the day off on Thursday

Angels manager Mike Scioscia opted to hold shortstop Erick Aybar out of the lineup Thursday against the Diamondbacks. It was just the third time Aybar was held out of the lineup this season as he has been in a 1-for-27 slump in his last seven games.
Fantasy Impact:
Hopefully a day of rest will get Aybar going as he has been in an awful slump. His batting average has dropped over 20 points in the last week and is hitting .246 on the season.
