Reid Detmers did not factor into the decision after allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out nine in five innings of Saturday's 5-3 win over the Twins.

Detmers has been one of the best pitchers in baseball since rejoining the big league club on July 8th, allowing two runs or less in each of his starts while striking out at least six. He should be a popular waiver wire add in most leagues as he will likely stay with the team for the rest of the season. The rookie now holds a 3.45 ERA and an impressive WHIP of 1.07 on the season.
