Tyler Anderson takes loss to Royals as Dodgers winning streak snapped

by Josh Thiessen | Angels Correspondent | Sun, Aug 14th 10:17pm EDT

Tyler Anderson pitched six innings on Sunday, striking out four, walking one, and giving up seven hits for three earned runs as he took the loss to the Royals, as the Dodgers saw their 12 game winning streak snapped in a 4-0 shutout.

Fantasy Impact:

Anderson took the loss to the Royals as their teams winning streak was snapped at 12, and his record now sits at 13-2 on the season. The Dodgers' pitcher has pitched to the tune of an 2.81 ERA with a WHIP of 1.01, which both rank in the top 15 in the league. The 32 year old is still pitching well as he walks just 5.0% of batters faced, his numbers may be better than they seem though as his xFIP is higher than his ERA sitting at 4.07. Anderson's next start comes against the Marlins on August 20th.
