Sandy Alcantara fired seven scoreless innings in Monday's 3-0 win over the Padres, surrendering just four hits and two walks while striking out seven.
After giving up four earned runs in Philadelphia last time out, Alcantara was back to his typically dominant self Monday night. The Miami ace dropped his NL-leading ERA back under 2.00 with this effort as well as crossed the 150-strikeout threshold. Alcantara has been nothing short of elite through 24 starts this year. He will look to keep it rolling Sunday in Los Angeles.
