Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough replaced opener Jalen Beeks prior to the third inning of Monday's game against the Yankees. He tossed a gem, recording four shutout innings while allowing just three hits and zero walks. He also struck out six batters and earned his first win of the season as Tampa Bay ultimately defeated New York by a score of 4-0.
