Shohei Ohtani did not factor into the decision after allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out eight in six innings of Monday's 6-2 loss to the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite not having his best stuff, allowing seven hits, Ohtani was still able to put together a quality start on Monday. His strikeout stuff continues to flash, as this was his 11th game with at least eight strikeouts. On the season, the two-way star now holds a 2.69 ERA and a WHIP of 1.06 to go along with 165 strikeouts in 117 innings pitched. His next start will come Sunday against the Tigers.
