Ke’Bryan Hayes was placed on the 10-day IL on Tuesday as his back issue has not improved per MLB.com’s Justice delos Santos. (Justice delos Santos on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Hayes has not played since August 11 but his back has not responded to the rest as the team had hoped. Hayes is currently slashing .251/.323/.358 with six home runs, 35 RBI, 44 runs scored, and 13 stolen bases in 391 at-bats this season. Kevin Padlo, who was recently claimed off waivers from the Seattle Mariners, will be called up in a corresponding move.
