Rays reliever Jason Adam recorded the final out of the eighth inning on Tuesday, then mowed down the Yankees in order in the bottom of the ninth. He struck out two batters and earned his seventh save of the season as Tampa Bay ultimately defeated New York by a score of 3-1.
