Merrill Kelly tossed seven shutout innings on the mound for the Diamondbacks Tuesday, allowing four hits while also walking two and striking out seven in the Diamondbacks' 2-1 loss to the Giants.

Kelly has allowed three runs or less in each of his three August starts for the Diamondbacks, posting a 2.37 ERA and 1.11 WHIP to go along with and 18K/6BB ratio in that span. The right-hander has been a solid asset for fantasy managers all season, carrying a 2.81 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with 122 strikeouts in 24 starts (10-5) on the mound this season.
