Zack Greinke pitched six innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on nine hits and no walks while striking out five in Kansas City’s 9-0 loss in Minnesota on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Most of the damage against Greinke in the 2nd when a fielding error by rookie Bobby Witt Jr allowed Minnesota to scratch across two unearned runs. The 38-year-old has now allowed one earned run in 12 1/3 innings (0.73 ERA) across his last two starts but is just 1-1 to show for it. Greinke also tied a season-high for the second straight start with five strikeouts. Greinke falls to 4-8 with a 4.13 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 62 strikeouts in 104 2/3 innings across 20 starts. The veteran will try again for career win 224 in his next start on Sunday against the Rays.
