Bobby Witt Jr went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Kansas City’s 9-0 loss in Minnesota on Tuesday.
Witt singled in the 4th inning and stole his 23rd base of the season. The 23 steals are good for sixth in the Majors and third in the American League behind only the Baltimore duo of Cedric Mullins and Jorge Mateo. He leads all rookies in stolen bases as well. Witt is slashing .251/.293/.430 with 15 home runs, 57 RBI, 57 runs scored, and the aforementioned 23 stolen bases in 414 at-bats to start his career.
