by Luke Monaldo | Wed, Aug 17th 12:26pm EDT

Noah Syndergaard will have his start, scheduled for Sunday against the Mets, moved to Monday against the Reds as reported by MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo. (Anthony DiComo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is the second time this season that Syndergaard has had a start moved back for extra rest and the first time since being acquired by the Phillies. Coincidentally both starts, first with the Angels and now with Philadelphia, have been pushed from scheduled starts against his former team, the New York Mets. Syndergaard is 7-8 this season with a 3.95 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts in 98 innings across 18 starts between the Angels (5-8, 3.83 ERA) and Phillies (2-0, 4.50 ERA).
