Angels outfielder Mike Trout, who has been sidelined for over a month due to a back injury, said that he hopes to play against the Tigers on Friday. (Sam Blum on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Trout mentioned that he is healthy, pain-free, and has completed the necessary rehab. The 31-year-old superstar has struggled to stay on the field over the last few seasons but is one of the best hitters in baseball when he's healthy. He owns a .266/.365/.596 slash line with 24 homers, 51 RBI, 39 walks, and 97 strikeouts through 79 games in 2022. As soon as he's back in the Angels' lineup, he should be started in all fantasy leagues.
