Rich Hill lasts five innings in Pittsburgh
by Andersen Pickard | Wed, Aug 17th 9:56pm EDT
Red Sox starter Rich Hill allowed just two runs, three hits, and zero walks over five innings of work against the Pirates on Wednesday. Both runs came on a Bryan Reynolds two-run homer. The veteran left-hander also struck out four batters and earned the win as Boston ultimately defeated Pittsburgh by a score of 8-3.
Fantasy Impact:
Hill is now 5-5 with a 4.68 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and .261 OBA through 18 starts this season. He has struggled in August, allowing 10 runs over seven innings, but has done a fine job eating innings in Boston's rotation. The veteran should be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues.
