Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez finished 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI, and a run scored in Houston's 3-2 win over Chicago Wednesday.
Alvarez' production has slowed in the month of August. He has just one home run and has just 11 hits in 51 at-bats. That has seen his batting average dip below .300 for the first time since early June. However, I would not expect that to continue though. Alvarez is simply too good of a hitter to remain cold for too long.
