Carlos Rodon K's 11 in six innings Wednesday

by Diego Sandoval | Yankees Correspondent | Thu, Aug 18th 3:06am EDT

Carlos Rodon did not factor into the decision after allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out 11 in six innings of Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodon was magnificent once again on Wednesday, reaching double-digit strikeouts for the seventh time this season while extending his streak of allowing two runs or less in a start to four in a row. The lefthander now sports a 2.89 ERA and a WHIP of 1.05 to go along with 179 strikeouts, good for third in the league, in 140 1/3 innings. He should continue to produce as a fantasy ace and he has a juicy matchup against the Tigers on Tuesday.
