Roansy Contreras allowed four runs on six hits and four walks while striking out three across six innings during Wednesday's 8-3 loss to the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Contreras (3-3) was touched up in the second, allowing three runs in the inning and another in fifth as Pittsburgh lost their sixth straight game. Wednesday was the 22-year-old's first start since July 7th after being called up from Triple-A Indianapolis earlier in the day. Whether Contreras remains in the big league rotation or is sent down remains unknown. He is 3-3 with a 4.02 ERA in 13 appearances.
