Yuli Gurriel extended his brief hitting streak to seven games Thursday in a 21-5 drubbing of the White Sox. He finished 3-for-5 with a walk, three runs scored and two RBI.
Despite clearly seeing the ball well of late, Thursday marked the first time he was able to drive in any runs in a week. Gurriel is one of the bigger disappointments in fantasy baseball this year, but he is worth keeping an eye on down the stretch. He is capable and earns consistent at-bats near the top of one of the best lineups in baseball.
