Brett Gardner went 2-for-5 with two RBI including a two run homer in the 9-4 victory over the Marlins last night

Brett Gardner on the season is hitting .265 with 6 homers and 30 RBI. Gardner has struggled the last 7 days hitting only .185 and .242 for the month of June. Nonetheless, the 31-year-old outfielder is now right in line with last year's power pace, and he's also enjoying a speed renaissance, as he's set to blow by his steal totals from his last two full seasons. If anything, he's giving those who invested in him on draft day a little more than they bargained for.
