Chris Davis trying to keep his offense going

by James McGowan | Fri, Jun 19th 10:49pm EDT

On Friday, the Baltimore Orioles lost 5-4 to the Toronto Blue Jays. In the loss Chirs Davis went 1-4 with an RBI single, a walk, and two strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis has been very hot and cold at the plate this season. He can't seem to be consistent with his offense, and really just seems to get them in bunches. This season Davis is hitting .224 in 228 at bats, with 14 home runs, and 38 RBI. As a player Davis is the same as he has been in recent years, he can never stay consistent but still puts up good numbers. Davis would be a solid bench guy that could be used in match-ups that favor him as hitter, as of right now I wouldn't keep him as an everyday player just because there is no consistency. We will see how Davis responds tomorrow as they take on the Blue Jays in the second game of the weekend series.
