Mike Mayers did not factor into the decision after allowing two hits and three walks while striking out five in five scoreless innings of Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Mayers turned in his best outing of the season on Wednesday, falling just one out short of his season-high in innings pitched. The 30-year-old has split time between the bullpen and the starting rotation this year, holding a 4.46 ERA and a WHIP of 1.25 through 34 1/3 innings pitched. He does not hold any fantasy value, despite this solid showing.
