Shea Langeliers has three-hit night in blowout loss to Yankees Thursday
by Josh Thiessen | Athletics Correspondent | Fri, Aug 26th 11:37am EDT
Shea Langeliers went 3-for-4 at the plate on Thursday, hitting two singles along with a solo home run, and striking out once as the A's went on to get pummelled by the Yankees in a 13-4 game.
Fantasy Impact:
Langeliers has been a bright spot for what has been a rather sad year for the Oakland Athletics, as the prized rookie is hitting a rather strong .294 on the season with an OPS of .953. The 24-year-old has played in just nine regular season games and has already hit two home runs, while driving in a total of seven runs, the rookie can be rostered cautiously.
