Bobby Witt Jr. went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Kansas City’s 12-2 win over the Tigers on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Witt becomes just the fifth first-year player and fifth Royals player all-time to record 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in the same season. His three-run homer off Michael Pineda in the 3rd inning put Kansas City up for good. Witt is slashing .248/.288/.444 with 20 home runs, 69 RBI, 68 runs scored, and 26 stolen bases in 480 at-bats this season.
