Adrian Martinez pitched six innings on Sunday, striking out four, walking two, and giving up three hits for zero earned runs as he earned the win for the A's in a 5-0 shutout of the Orioles.
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez was fantastic on Sunday as he pushed his record to above .500 on the season with the win. The Athletics' pitcher managed to escape unscathed which dropped his ERA to a more respectable 4.37, he also currently maintains a WHIP of 1.26. The 25-year-old does not strike out many with just 29 punch outs over 35 innings pitched and he should not be rostered at this time, including for his next start which comes against the White Sox on September 11th.
