Albert Pujols goes yard twice on Monday
by Jamison Malasko | Tue, Jun 23rd 8:06am EDT
Angels first baseman Albert Pujols continued his hot streak in Monday night's 4-3 win over the Astros. Pujols hit two home runs in the game, giving him 23 for the year. He hit his first in the fifth inning on a two-run shot. Pujols' second came in the seventh inning on a solo bomb. Pujols finished the game with 2 for 3 with 3 RBI.
Fantasy Impact:
I don't think there is anyone swinging a better bat then Pujols right now. Pujols has now hit 15 home runs, 30 RBI and only four strikeouts in his last 24 games. He now has a slash line of .275/.336/.581.
