Trevor Rogers turns in another strong effort Monday

by Nate Miller | Marlins Correspondent | Mon, Sep 12th 6:05pm EDT

Trevor Rogers fired 6 1/3 innings in Monday afternoon's 3-2 loss to the Rangers, allowing two runs on just four hits and two walks while racking up nine strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

The form that made Rogers an All-Star in 2021 has finally returned. The 24-year-old southpaw set a new season-high in punchouts Monday afternoon, continuing his strong work over three starts since returning from a month-long stay on the IL. In those three outings, Rogers has delivered a 2.95 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and 31.4-percent strikeout rate across 18 1/3 innings. He will aim to keep things rolling this weekend against the Nationals.
