Jordan Montgomery struggles on mound in Tuesday's loss to Brewers

Jordan Montgomery struggled through five innings on the mound for the Cardinals Tuesday, allowing six runs (four earned) on seven hits while also walking one and striking out six in the Cardinals' 8-4 loss to the Brewers.

Fantasy Impact:

Montgomery allowed more than one run for the first time in three September starts for the Cardinals, posting an impressive 2.55 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with 16 strikeouts in that span. The 29-year-old left-hander has benefited from a change of scenery, posting a 1.06 WHIP and 3.20 ERA with 141 strikeouts in 29 starts (8-4) on the mound this season.
