Astros SP Lance McCormick Jr. was excellent on Thursday, striking out 11 batters in a no-decision vs. the Athletics. He last six innings, allowing two runs on two hits and four walks.
Fantasy Impact:
McCormick Jr. has been very good since his season debut last month. But Thursday was certainly his most dominant performance. The walks were the only reason he did not go further into the game. The Astros righty faces a tougher test next time out against the Rays on the road.
