Fantasy Impact:
The Sox plan to see how Kopech's shoulder responds next week, but it's there is a good chance he doesn't pitch again this season. He recently returned from the IL due to a knee injury and has given up 6 ER and struck out 7 in 8.2 innings (2 starts) since then. The Sox don't have any long-term concerns, but he holds little to no value for the rest of the 2022 season.
