Jazz Chisholm underwent surgery for a torn right meniscus on Friday. He is still expected to be ready for spring training. (Jordan McPherson on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Not only was the Marlins’ star second baseman dealing with a stress fracture in his lower back, but he played through a torn meniscus. With Chisholm out for the rest of the season prior to the surgery, it made sense for him to have it as soon as possible. Fantasy managers should hope to have a fully healthy Chisholm in 2023.
