Miles Mikolas was strong through six innings on the mound for the Cardinals Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits while also walking two and striking out six in the Cardinals' 1-0 loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Mikolas has allowed less than three runs in two of four September starts for the Cardinals, posting a solid 2.52 ERA and 2.50 K/BB ratio in that span. The right-hander has been fairly consistent on the mound for much of the season for fantasy managers, posting a 1.04 WHIP and 3.35 ERA with 144 strikeouts in 31 starts (11-13) on the mound this season.
