Trevor Story (heel) placed on IL

Trevor Story has been placed on the 10-day IL with a left heel contusion, retroactive to 9/19. (Chris Cotillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Story had been making some progress toward a return earlier in the week but will ultimately need more time to recover. While he still may return before the end of the season, the Red Sox may very well opt to keep him out for the rest of 2022. He potentially finishes a disappointing season with a .238 average, .737 OPS, and .301 xwOBA.
