Eduardo Rodriguez allowed three runs on eight hits over six innings in a 5-3 win over the White Sox on Friday. Rodriguez earned the win while striking out three and walking one.
Rodriguez allowed a two-run homer to A.J. Pollock in the sixth inning but mostly cruised other than that. The veteran lefty notched five swinging strikes on 85 pitches in the outing. Rodriguez now has a 4-5 record, 4.37 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 62 strikeouts over 78 1/3 innings of work. His next start is slated to be on Thursday against the Royals.
