Kyle Wright pitched 5 1/3 innings allowing two earned runs on two hits and two walks while striking out six during Atlanta's win over Philadelphia on Saturday.
Wright was cruising through five innings before allowing a Rhys Hoskins double and subsequent Bryce Harper two-run bomb in the sixth but ultimately, came away with the win. With the victory, Wright becomes the first pitcher in the league to reach 20 wins this season. He's been pretty lights out recently outside of an eight-run anomaly, logging wins in seven of his last eight starts and 11 of his last 13. His dominance in the win column is coupled with a sharp 3.18 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 171 strikeouts through 175 1/3 innings pitched. His next scheduled start is against the Mets on Friday.
