Connor Capel hits three-run homer in A's loss Sunday

by Josh Thiessen | Reds Correspondent | Sun, Sep 25th 8:17pm EDT

Connor Capel went 2-for-4 at the plate on Sunday, hitting a three-run homer, and striking out once as the A's went on to lose to the Mets in a 13-4 game.

Fantasy Impact:

Capel was another member of the A's who hit a homer for the second straight game, and it was one that brought his total to three on the season through 14 games played. The former Cardinal has swung the bat to the tune of an .343 BA and an OPS of 1.042 through his first 14 games and despite the small sample size he has been terrific. The 25-year-old needs to be watched with intent as he is becoming a candidate for dynasty rosters as the 2022 MLB season comes to a close.
