Robbie Ray took the loss Tuesday against the Rangers, allowing two runs on six hits across 5.2 innings to go along with eight strikeouts and two walks.
Ray cruised through the first five innings allowing just one run on three hits. Texas made him work in the next inning as he threw 26 pitches to three batters alone in the frame. Josh Jung drove in both runs off Ray and all five runs on the night off the Mariners pitching staff. Seattle happened to get shut out in a bullpen game for the Rangers.
