Craig Kimbrel picked up the loss after allowing three walks, including a walk with the bases loaded to give San Diego the win, and striking out one in the 10th inning of Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Padres.
Kimbrel was given the task to send the game to the 11th inning on Tuesday, but yet again he had trouble in the pressure situation. After getting Manny Machado to strike out with runners on the corners and two outs, the reliever proceeded to walk the next two batters he faced, bringing home the winning run. The 34-year-old has not been reliable in the slightest this season, as seen by his 4.02 ERA and his 1.36 WHIP. Given that he was taken out of the primary closer role for the Dodgers, he cannot be trusted in fantasy for the final week of the regular season.
