Pete Alonso went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a loss to Miami Tuesday.

Alonso hit a Pablo Lopez pitch deep into left center field to bring the Mets within one run in the fourth inning. The 27-year-old is slashing .270/.348/.524 with 40 home runs, 131 runs batted in, and five stolen bases this season. Alonso ranks second in the NL in home runs, 11th in hits, sixth in slugger percentage, and first in runs batted in.
