Zac Gallen was strong on the mound for seven innings for the Diamondbacks Wednesday, allowing two runs on six hits while also walking one and striking out six in the Diamondbacks' 5-2 win over the Astros.

Gallen has allowed three runs or less in each of his last five starts for the Diamondbacks, posting an impressive 0.69 WHIP and 41K/5BB ratio in that span. The 27-year-old has led an underrated Arizona rotation for most of the season, posting a 0.89 WHIP and 2.46 ERA with 186 strikeouts in 30 starts (12-3) on the mound this season.
