Jose Suarez tosses seven strong innings in Saturday's win

by Diego Sandoval | Angels Correspondent | Sun, Oct 2nd 12:03am EDT

Jose Suarez picked up the win after allowing two runs on two hits while striking out six in seven innings of Saturday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.

Fantasy Impact:

Suarez was dominant on Saturday, not allowing a baserunner until the seventh inning, where he gave up his lone earned runs on a two-run homer. It was a great way for the lefthander to end his solid year, as his record will be 8-8 to go along with a 3.96 ERA and a WHIP of 1.25 in 22 outings. The 24-year-old will now look towards next season with the Angels out of postseason contention.
