Kyle Higashioka homers in Game 1 win Tuesday

by Luke Monaldo | Padres Correspondent | Wed, Oct 5th 8:25am EDT

Kyle Higashioka went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in New York’s 5-4 win against the Rangers in Game 1 of Tuesday’s doubleheader against the Rangers.

Fantasy Impact:

Higashioka reached 10 home runs, the same as platoon mate Jose Trevino, who has over 100 more at-bats this season. Higashioka has more DFS value than season long as long as he’s in a timeshare behind the plate. Catcher is one position fantasy managers are better off looking elsewhere than on the Yankees. Higashioka is slashing .226/.263/.389 with 10 home runs, 30 RBI, and 27 runs scored in 226 at-bats this season.
