Nathan Eovaldi tosses shutout in final start before free agency

Nathan Eovaldi allowed just two hits and two walks over five shutout innings against the Rays on Tuesday. He struck out four batters and earned the win as Boston ultimately defeated Tampa Bay by a score of 6-0 after the game was nixed due to rain in the fifth inning.

Fantasy Impact:

Eovaldi finishes the year with a 6-3 record, 3.87 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and .264 OBA through 20 starts this season. He boasted great control, amassing 8.48 K/9 and 1.65 BB/9. The right-fielder is slated to become a free agent this offseason.
