Domingo German pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six in New York’s 4-2 loss to the Rangers on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
German gave up more than three runs for the first time since his first start of the season. This indicates his 2-5 record was a fluke and next season should be better. German should remain in the Yankee rotation next season but could be a bullpen arm. Check closer to spring training before considering drafting him. German finishes the regular season 2-5 with a 3.61 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts in 72 1/3 innings across 15 appearances (14 starts).
